smurf-art-britney-spears-oohlalaBritney Spears’ new single Ooh La La for The Smurfs 2 soundtrack has made its way onto the internet. The song is written by Dr. Luke and Bonnie McKee. The production is typical Dr. Luke repeating himself as it sounds like something that would’ve been on Ke$ha’s album. It also contains some of Bonnie’s vocals layered with Britney’s.

There’s not much to the song but it’s nice to listen to. The chorus has a strong melody which reminds me a bit of Madonna’s Superstar from the way the “ooh la la” parts are sung.

Listen to Ooh La La below:

Edit: Britney confirmed via Twitter that this is only the demo:

@britneyspears: I heard an early demo of #OohLaLa smurfed its way onto the internet today :( The real version will be at radio and iTunes June 16th :)

Edit: This “early demo” turned out to be identical to the final version.

Madonna – “Turn Up The Radio” Music Video

Madonna’s video for her third single from MDNA, Turn Up The Radio, premiered on VEVO.

For most of the video Madonna is dancing in the back of a car which gets swarmed with fans and paparazzi as it drives. In other scenes Madonna has a party in the car.

It’s not the most exciting music video but it should do it’s job to help the most radio friendly single on the album become a hit.

Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild music video premiered today on VEVO. It’s one of her best videos in years. The video is shot mostly in black and white.

There’s been some online criticisms that it rips of Lady Gaga’s Alejandro music video but in fact, the Girl Gone Wild video serves as a homage to many of Madonna’s iconic videos.

Madonna – “I Fucked Up”

Madonna uploaded a new MDNA album track called I Fucked Up to her YouTube channel. It’s a vulnerable ballad about her divorce from Guy Richie.

It’s not the strongest track from what I’ve heard so far of MDNA, but it has a nice sound even if the lyrics can be a bit cheesy at times.

Madonna – “Superstar” Preview

Madonna’s been uploading previews of tracks from her upcoming album, MDNA, to Youtube. Nothing so far has really grabbed my attention so far but I like the sound of Superstar which she uploaded yesterday. Superstar is written and produced by Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza and Michael Malih. It features vocals from Madonna’s daughter Lourdes.

It’s a summer-sounding track that might make a good single at some point. I love the lyric:

You can have the password to my phone, I’ll give you a massage when you get home

You can listen to the clip of Superstar below:

MDNA is out March 26th.
