Britney Spears’ new single Work Bitch, from her upcoming 8th studio album, has leaked a day early. The track is produced by will.i.am and Antony Preston.

On first listen, Work Bitch sounds a bit messy. Britney talks for most of the song. It sounds like will.i.am gave Britney her own solo version of Scream & Shout. Britney is heard doing her British accent again – as heard on Scream & Shout. It’s possibly her weakest lead single ever but hopefully after a few listens it will grow on me.

Take a listen to Work Bitch below:

Work Bitch is out tomorrow (September 16th) on iTunes.

Ke$ha – “Crazy Kids” Video Premiere

crazykidsKe$ha’s video for Crazy Kids, the third single from Warrior, premiered last night on MTV.

The video features will.i.am but it’s unknown whether there’s another video featuring Pitbull for international markets.

The video is one of Ke$ha’s worst. Her miming to the track is edited badly so she’s out of sync with the track. will.i.am wasn’t available on the day of filming so his head is edited onto someone else’s body in an astronaut suit. Aside from that, not much happens in the video.

You can check the video out below:

Muzic Junkie’s Sound Cloud account hadn’t been used properly yet so to start it off, I uploaded a mash up of two number 1 singles from 2009; I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas and My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson. They both fit quite well together.

Check it out:

I’ll post more of these mash ups when I make some.

Cheryl Cole – “3 Words” Video Premier

The music video for Cheryl Cole’s upcoming single 3 Words featuring Will.I.Am premiered earlier today. The video is very different to Cheryl’s debut Fight For This Love as this time it’s not Cheryl dancing in front of a green screen. The video is edited into a split screen effect showing Cheryl and Will on each side of the screen making it look like Cheryl and Will didn’t film the video together.

The video doesn’t really go anywhere although many would argue that the song doesn’t either. Overall I don’t like it yet but maybe after watching it a few more views I might change my mind.

3 Words…To Save My Life

Cheryl Cole’s upcoming second single, 3 Words, premiered this morning on Chris Moyles’ BBC Radio 1 show. As a Will.I.Am produced track it’s unexpectedly and surprisingly brilliant.

Dubbed by Cheryl herself as the best song on her upcoming debut, 3 Words is a melancholic, mid-tempo piece of dance pop with a bit of an edge to it. Slightly experimental but at the same time it’s easy to recognise that it comes from the same place as tracks on The Black Eyed Peas latest album The E.N.D., particularly I Gotta Feeling. It wouldn’t sound out of place sat next to the latter, Missing You and Meet Me Halfway but judging from the clips of Cheryl’s debut album, it could sound out of place on there.

3 Words has the potential to be a huge hit for Cheryl. If clubs take to it like I Gotta Feeling, a number one is definitely in the bag.
